Since 2007 Laura Robinson and Dr. Liz Stirling have collaborated on ‘The Den Project’ - a joint practice initiating the
construction and inhabitation of spaces of creativity. They have invited people of all ages to participate in the
design and making of temporary environments as a means of communicating that does not depend on one
common language. Last year we shifted the focus of our practice, beyond den-making to empowering people
through play in unique experiences.

Colin Ward and children, play and space. I followed his advice and decided to explore in miniature so i tested some film out selecting objects from the grid of organised stuff. Then tested the yellow ball out too.
